How desperate are Kerry supporters, to pull another bit of juvenile sabotage
on the sellers of Unfit for Command, within a day of the first one? Pretty desperate, I'm thinking. It won't surprise me at all if we start hearing of brick-and-mortar retailers suffering similar vandalism perpetrated against copies of the book - covers ripped, displays knocked over, "accidental" spills, and the like. After all, they deserve it for not refusing to carry a work that tells such wicked lies about Kerry, right?
I'm now more than a bit worried over this whole thing. How far will the defenders of Kerry go? Are these kinds of strongarm tactics and culturejamming pranks a harbinger of what we're going to see at the Republican convention, or indeed during the election itself? If they don't get the results they want, will there be escalation?
